

In the next story we find out one of the version of the Mad Hatter was none other than Jack the Ripper. The next story is the origin of Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee and their horrible father. It appears Wonderland is a little like Philip Jose Farmer's River of Souls series, for when beings die they regenerate, but the new Red Queen has a way to stop that cut off their heads and keep them separate from their bodies. The second story concerns a new Queen of Hearts for Wonderland. As usual, lots of people die in gruesome ways. The first story is the origin of the cheshire cat. It’s a better read than the first volume but still mediocre at best.more Separate, one shot tales of Wonderland would’ve been a better way to go but oh well. And while it’s beneficial in some ways it also makes this overall simple tale unnecessarily convoluted. My personal tidbit is that these stories still all connect to the main story and its characters. I ended up enjoying more of them on a whole, especially the Cheshire Cat tale and the Mad Hatter one as well.
